Hi friends - under the weather today. I decided not to share my sickness with others and so here I sit at home... watching day time television.
Now epiphanies are hard to come by while not feeling too hot, but I have figured out one thing...
The show "The Doctors" breeds hypochondria.
I mean, how do you not worry about EVERYTHING when you watch this show. In the past half hour I have realized that mucus and bacteria can live on paper money for 17 days, I need to stick my makeup bag in the freezer every two weeks to kill deadly germs (I have already forgotten for how long), I should be cleaning my makeup brushes before every use or apparently my face will fall off, and fecal matter is pretty much on everything a person that doesn't wash their hands touches, and it is okay to swallow phlegm.
Tomorrow, why sore throats can be the first sign of something life threatening.
Really? How can people watch this show everyday?? As a nurse, I tend to be more of a worrier - hey I've seen a lot of rare, random things - but now I feel like I need to get out from under these blankets and sterilize everything - oh and get rid of my money, eek!
*Edit* The Doctors have just shared that taking freezing cold showers will boost immunity. (Their explanation was a reach on that one) Yeah - I think I'll stick with my warm showers.
