One Week Ago...

... my sister went into labor.

Around 16 hours later, my new nephew, Grayson Hunter, was born.

5:02 MT, 7lbs 7.5ozs

Is there something in the water?

... because everyone is having BABIES!!


Ok... not everyone... but a lot of people we know. We want to have babies, but not right now. I will be attending graduate school in the fall and baby+school+full time job = chaos... and a very stressed Jenny.

I am - however - so excited for our friends' and familys' children, to the point I could burst. I cannot wait to be there during that special time and be "Aunt Jenny" to numerous kiddos.

One of those kiddos belongs to my sister and her hubbie John.


"Greyson" or "Grayson"  (not sure of the spelling) will be joining us mid October.

If only our prayers could be as carefree and light hearted as when we were children.

My family needs some prayers right now. Although I don't want to get into specifics, I have three special family members that need a prayer of healing... as they are all going through some rough times. I know that I don't usually discuss religious matters on my blog, but this a plea. Any extra thoughts, prayers, and good words would extremely benefit these individuals as they tackle these next few weeks.

We spent time with my parents and had a lovely day. My favorite? Decorating  eggs.... I still don't understand how an oversized bunny factors in to the holiday... but hey - it was fun!

Glinda and her bubbles

Every time I see bubbles, I think of Glinda, the good witch, from the Wizard of Oz. How awesome would it be if we could travel in those soapy spherical creations? Sign me up!

Well, while we can't ride around in bubbles right now, we sure had a lot of fun with them on a bright Saturday afternoon. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
