Way to go USPS!!!!

As one of my 25x25 projects... assignments... challenges... whatever you would like to call it, I will be writing a note to a friend or loved one (or maybe a complete stranger) every single week until I turn 26.

EVERY week. Thats 52 letters.. handwritten letters.

But I am excited.

In the age of technology when it takes only a few moments to type out a little something and send it whirling through cyperspace, I feel that handwritten letters should carry a little bit more meaning when they are composed. Just the process of gathering the appropriate materials, enscribing a carefully manuscripted masterpiece, and then meandering to the nearest post office box to make sure it begins it's cross country adventure takes time. (Sending and recieving letters are the  <--- who knows, it was the first thing to come to mind.

Anyways, the USPS (United States Postal Service) just announced that not ONLY are they making all new stamps Forever... ever... stamps....(you don't have to buy new stamps every time the price goes up - hooray!!) they are releasing some cool designs to make it fun to send those handwritten treasures.

I want to share with you some of my fav designs... and they aren't even all of them.
Can't wait to send these letters!!!!!!

A little confused about this stamp, but I thougth it was pretty. Is it the year of the orange? I am not sure what it has to do with the lunar new year. (What is a lunar new year exactly?)

Ohhh Kansas. Wait thats Ohhhkkklahoma. haha. Anyway the idea of having "state stamps" is cool.

Lovin' the neon letters... it would give some "pizazz" to a note! (Probably did not spell that right...)

I am a sucker for flowers... especially hand drawn flowers. I think these are probably one of my favorite favorites.

Famous scientists!!!! (Nerd Alert)

I loved Huckleberry Finn!! Wouldn't you want him to grace one of your letters?

Aww... I am not sure if this is a picture of a specific, but he is sure a beauty!

And who doesn't love pixar?? I know my nephews would love the "Cars" stamps!

And last but not least... white roses. Well any roses really... Love it!!

If you would like to see the entire collection of stamps, click on any of the pictures above. Can't wait to start on my 25x25 list!!!
