Some songs immediately catch my attention.
Usually it is the beat or the music because I can’t pick out lyrics. True story. Most times I make up my own lyrics just to “pseudo sing” the songs. It is sad… for everyone that has to listen! Haha.
Sometimes, though, I come across the music video and fall in love.
I am not a diehard Katie Perry fan, but I am a HUGE fan of her song “Firework.” It didn’t catch my attention on the radio, but the hubbie found the music video and showed it to me. I think I might have shed a tear. Another true story. I tend to get emotional with songs. Who knew? Anyway… I ran to my computer and looked up the lyrics. Loved em’ too!
