Trapped in a Winter Wonderland...
(To the tune of "Walking in a Winter Wonderland")
Sirens ring, are you listening,
Off the lanes, cars are glistening
Such a sad sight,
And we’re stuck here tonight.
Trapped in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the salt truck,
Here to stay will be our luck
We sing to Rock Band,
As we dream of the sand,
Trapped in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can see some children,
Sledding down the hills on trash can tops
We'll yell: That looks fun!
They'll say: No mam,
The powers out -
We’ve been sent here by our Pops.
Later on, we'll conspire,
As we sit by the fire
How to reach the hockey game,
Refunding the tickets will be a pain,
Trapped in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can run with our dogs,
Playing in the freshly fallen snow
We'll have lots of fun with our little dogs,
Until Cyrus starts coughing and we go.
When it snows, it ain't thrilling,
Your nose gets quite a chilling
We'll hope and pray, the Nashville way,
For sun to melt this winter wonderland.
