It's amazing how fast time flies, especially when it has slipped out of your grasp and taken a few short cuts to the future. The problem with the short cuts is that with all the commotion and change of scenery, it keeps you wanting to look ahead, to see where you'll end up... and some how causes you to forget to look around.
The nice thing about writing [blogging] is that thoughts and memories from tangible moments in time are captured - allowing for revisits from the future. Moments that can potentially seem unimportant, but to the distant or not so distant self, it's quips that can be laughed at, ideas that can be re-hashed, and memories salvaged from an overworked brain.
Here's to 2013 - Making Memories, Keeping Memories, Sharing Memories
