(Started this a while back and wanted to revisit the themed day!)
I came across this video while reading the news late last night. It was about a “Golden Voiced” homeless man. The homeless man, Ted, said that although he might not look the part, “radio is theater of the mind” and he has the voice. Unfortunately “alcohol and drugs and a few other things” became a part of his life, but he has been clean for two years and is ready for a change.
Ted might have been panhandling a few weeks ago, but it looks like his days of living on the streets are coming to an end. He has landed several interviews; maybe 2011 will be his year.
I encourage you to watch this video… he truly has an amazing voice.
